Joyful Orange's 2009 Fun(d)raiser offers all that you have come to expect from us: a totally expected, absoloutely delightful evening of food, drink and thoroughly captivating entertainment!
This year's event honors the 150th Anniversary of gold mining in Colorado's mining country, and is classic vaudevill in the perfect turn-of-the-century setting of Central City's Event Center, 2nd floor of Doc Holliday Casino (otherwise known for this night asThe Brouhaha Brothel). Lose yourself in the gaiety of the times of the gold rush, as Madam Bernice (Mark Pergola) and the house ladies (a professional cast) welcome and entertain all those seeking gold "in them their hills!"
It is a "we've thought of everything" night
- Buffet dinner (including dishes for vegetarians)
- Cash bar (Tommyknocker beer and wine available)
- A silent auction (cash, check, credit cards accepted)
- Complementary first drink
*V.I.P. admission includes free drinks, bus fare, preferential treatment from the Madam & ladies, and a keepsake!
** A chartered bus is available on a first come-first served basis. The Coach America bus will pick up passengers at Howard Johnsons 12100 W. 44th Ave (just east of Ward Rd.) Wheatridge, CO at 5:30 pm. After the performance, hourly buses leave from Bonanza Casino at 10:00 pm, 11:30 pm, or 1:00 am, to accomodate your personal departure preference.
